What Makes a Good Friend?

I have had a lot of friends in my life.  Many I have lost touch with and many I communicate with regularly.  Although they are all different in many ways, they all have the following three qualities:

1)  Trustworthy:  I am an open person and I share personal things with all of my friends.  I know I can trust my friends to not gossip about the things I tell them.
2)  Dependable:  I am not one who asks for a lot of help.  However, if I do need help, I can depend on my friends to help me.
3)  A good listener:  My friends value what it is I have to say and listen to me when I am talking.  They disagree with me sometimes, but they will listen to what I have to say first and show that they value my opinions.

"The Flying Machine" Should we be Afraid of Technology?

little buck wrote:  Yes we should be scared of technology because now of days people can make booms out of there self phones and kill thousand's of people with it. It relates to "The Flying Machine" because if the boy who was flying was using technology and the technology could glitch and he could crash it.

It relates to "The Flying Machine" by us maybe finding it, or it finding us, and "The Flying Machine" technology only getting greater and smarter also.

Good Example of Book Review

ELAASHZZ Wrote:
The Story An American Childhood, is about a girl named Annie. The story takes place in Annie’s and her sister Amy’s room, Amy is sleeping on another bed across from Annie, while Annie, awake and alarmed, sees a luminous light, shining dimly. Annie sees this light every night, and sometimes, multiple times a night. Annie terrified, hears a car engine, when it comes, and leaves. Soon to know, that the light is just a car light passing, reflecting its lights into the window and shining into her room, Annie finally figures out that it is just a light that made the dim scary light appear. She was so relieved to know that it was the car. In my opinion, this is a really interesting story that I’d recommend this to students in middle school, because it’s short and keeps the reader’s attention.
